New York Giants: Jakob Johnson Could Be the First German NFL Player in a Game in Germany on Sunday
Whether Johnson will actually play on Sunday will likely be a last-minute decision. The running back has flown to Germany, but he's been bouncing between worlds for weeks—sometimes part of the Giants’ practice squad, a training group that allows players to potentially move up to the game-day roster. Other times, he's released from the squad. Johnson has been waived five times now but remains undeterred heading into the Munich Game: "It would be another really cool moment in my journey. I’d just have a lot of fun playing in front of friends and family in Germany."
